DOH Reports 168 New COVID Cases Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 168 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the statewide total to 83,188. Five new COVID-related fatalities were also reported.
The state’s seven-day average is now 120 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.9%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 57,377
Hawai‘i: 10,846
Maui: 9,442
Kaua‘i: 2,523
Moloka‘i: 239
Lana‘i: 142
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,619
A total of 4,642 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 885 have died.
