DOH Reports 80 New COVID-19 Cases Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 80 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 82,591. No new COVID-related fatalities were also reported.
A total of six new infections were identified on the Big Island Tuesday. The state’s seven-day average is now 117 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.7%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 57,044
Hawai‘i: 10,719
Maui: 9,373
Kaua‘i: 2,570
Moloka‘i: 237
Lana‘i: 141
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,586
A total of 4,595 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 876 have died.
