DOH Reports 127 New COVID Cases Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 127 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 81,790. Six new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
A total of 29 new infections were identified on the Big Island Wednesday. The state’s seven-day average is now 155 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 2.8%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 56,621
Hawai‘i: 10,527
Maui: 9,296
Kaua‘i: 2,436
Moloka‘i: 235
Lana‘i: 140
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,535
A total of 4,536 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 851 have died.
