12 COVID Fatalities Reported Thursday
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 332 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 79,206. Twelve new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
The state’s two-week average is now 307 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 3.9%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 55,098
Hawai‘i: 10,006
Maui: 9,060
Kaua‘i: 2,255
Moloka‘i: 226
Lana‘i: 139
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,422
A total of 4,310 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 782 have died.
To date, a total of 2,007,072 doses of vaccine have been administered statewide, with 67.9% of the population fully vaccinated and 76.1% having received at least one shot.
