DOH Reports 240 New Cases, as Vaccine Shots Overtake 2 Million Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 240 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 78,404. No new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
The state’s two-week average is now 333 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 4%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.

A total of 4,273 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 757 have died.
To date, a total of 2,000,996 doses of vaccine have been administered statewide, with 67.8% of the population fully vaccinated and 76% having received at least one shot.
