DOH Reports 403 New COVID-19 Cases Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 403 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the statewide total to 77,369. Nine new COVID-related fatalities were also reported.
The state’s two-week average is now 393 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 4.8%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 53,864
Hawai‘i: 9,737
Maui: 8,911
Kaua‘i: 2,131
Moloka‘i: 215
Lana‘i: 139
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,372
A total of 4,187 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 747 have died.
To date, a total of 1,984,074 doses of vaccine have been administered statewide, with 67.2% of the population fully vaccinated and 75.6% who have received at least one dose.
