DOH Reports 831 New COVID-19 Cases Statewide
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 831 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 58,578. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
The state’s two-week average is now 701 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 8.4%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 41,262
Maui: 6,911
Hawai‘i: 6,916
Kaua‘i: 1,119
Moloka‘i: 155
Lana‘i: 129
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,086
A total of 3,288 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 573 have died.
To date, a total of 1,840,977 doses of the vaccine have been administered statewide, with 62.3% of the population fully vaccinated at 70.7% who have received at least one shot.
