Hawai‘i Sees Fifth Straight Day of Triple-Digit Virus Totals
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 132 new cases of coronavirus statewide Monday, bringing the overall total to 39,386. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
A total of one new cases was reported on Kaua‘i, according to the County District Health Office. The state’s two-week average is now 106 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 3.3%.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:

Moloka‘i: 57
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,485
A total of 2,570 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 523 have died.
