DOH Reports 124 New COVID-19 Cases Statewide

The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 124 new cases of coronavirus statewide Saturday, bringing the overall total to 30,090. No new COVID-related deaths have been reported.

The state’s two-week average is now 91 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 2.9%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 27,851
Maui: 3,959
Hawai‘i: 3,366
Kaua‘i: 462
Lana‘i: 112
Moloka‘i: 57
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,453

A total of 2,554 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 523 have died.

To date, a total of 1,723,223 vaccinations have been administered statewide.
