Three New Kaua‘i Cases
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 44 new cases of coronavirus statewide Sunday, bringing the overall total to 37,647. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
3 new cases were reported on Kaua‘i Sunday, with 117 active cases and six people hospitalized.
The state’s two-week average is 39 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.4%. A DOH map that tracks cases by district across all islands can be accessed on the department’s website.

A total of 2,459 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 516 have died.
