Hawai‘i Daily Virus Average Drops to Lowest Total This Year
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 14 new cases of coronavirus statewide Monday, bringing the overall total to 37,367. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
The state’s two-week average is 39 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.1%. A DOH map that tracks cases by district across all islands can be accessed on the department’s website.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 26,876
Maui: 3,830
Hawai‘i: 3,139
Kaua‘i: 344
Lana‘i: 112
Moloka‘i: 55
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,267
A total of 2,420 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 513 have died.
To date, a total of 1,651,129 doses of vaccine have been administered statewide.
