DOH Identifies 76 New COVID Infections Thursday
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 76 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday. The statewide total is now 33,450. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
No new cases were reported on Kaua‘i Thursday, per DOH statistics. The state’s two-week average is 71 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate with 1.3%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 25,592
Maui: 3,537
Hawai‘i: 2,750
Kaua‘i: 304
Lana‘i: 112
Moloka‘i: 38
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,117
A total of 2,201 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 489 have died.
