DOH Reports 58 New COVID Cases Wednesday
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 58 new cases of coronavirus Wednesday, raising the statewide total to 28,950. Three new COVID-related deaths were also reported.
The state’s two-week average is 74 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.5%. The state’s virus tracker, which maps cases by district across all islands, can be accessed here.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 22,662
Maui: 2,659
Hawai‘i: 2,392
Kaua‘i: 188
Lana‘i: 110
Moloka‘i: 34
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 905
A total of 1,961 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 457 people have died.
