State Identifies 60 New COVID Cases Thursday
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 60 new cases of coronavirus Thursday, raising the statewide total to 28,081. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
The state’s two-week average is 51 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.2%.
No new cases were identified on Kaua´i Thursday, according to DOH statistics. The state’s virus tracker, which maps cases by district across all islands, can be accessed here.
The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 22,202
Maui: 2,383
Hawai‘i: 2,302
Kaua‘i: 186
Lana‘i: 108
Moloka‘i: 27
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 873
A total of 1,914 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 448 people have died.
