State Identifies 45 New COVID Cases Thursday
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 45 new cases of coronavirus Thursday, raising the statewide total to 27,358. Zero new COVID-related deaths were reported.
The state’s two-week average is 47 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.2%. The state’s virus tracker, which maps cases by district across all islands, can be accessed here.

O‘ahu: 21,869
Hawai‘i: 2,237
Maui: 2.106
Kaua‘i: 182
Lana‘i: 108
Moloka‘i: 27
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 829
A total of 1,858 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 435 people have died.
