A free community testing event will be held Saturday morning at Kekaha Elementary School after the Kaua‘i District Health Office identified several new cases of COVID-19 in the Kekaha area.

Saturday’s free community COVID-19 testing is intended for Kekaha residents. Others seeking free testing should register for the Vidinha surge testing program on Sunday. These free testing programs cannot be used for Safe Travels quarantine exemptions.

The District Health Office, in partnership with the County, will be holding the free community COVID-19 testing opportunity this Saturday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon at Kekaha Elementary School. This will be a drive-up testing event. All ages are welcome, and there is no charge. There is no online pre-registration for this testing event.

Meanwhile, the County’s weekly Sunday surge testing program continues Nov. 29 in Līhu‘e, Dec. 6 in Kapa ‘a, and Dec. 13 in Hanapēpē. Online pre-registration is strongly encouraged for the weekly Sunday surge testing events. For more information, please visit kauai.gov/test.
