Two Roads Scheduled For Closures Starting Monday

The Department of Public Works and Goodfellow Bros. LLC announced that Maluhia Road and Kōloa Road are scheduled for closures starting Monday.

Work will continue on Maluhia Road on Nov. 9 under a single lane closure from 8 a.m. to noon. One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained. Flaggers will be positioned to assist motorists during these closures.

Additionally, on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10, Kōloa Road will be under full closure from Po‘ipū Road to Ala Kalanikaumaka for shoulder widening and pavement work. The hours of operation for the full closure will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On Nov. 12 and Nov. 13, Kōloa Road will be under single-lane closure from Ōma‘o Road to Piko Road for shoulder construction. The hours of operation for the single lane closure will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dates and times are subject to change depending on weather and other factors.

Traffic delays may occur during this period so please plan ahead. Motorists are advised to follow all traffic control signs and personnel.
